Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lorenzo Brogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duke Nukem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nukem has chosen Meet the Monster by Five Finger Death Punch as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

and Brogan counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Nukem is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Nukem is looking to work some ground and pound but Brogan has wrist control.
Brogan tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Nukem trying to control the position from guard on top but Brogan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Nukem looking to ground and pound but Brogan is blocking nicely.
Brogan wants to control but Nukem is having none of it.
Nukem is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Brogan to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Brogan shrugs it off.
Nukem moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Brogan has worked his arm free - good work by Brogan!
Brogan is trying to get back to his feet.

Nukem is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Brogan knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Nukem trying to control the position but Brogan is working away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nukem lands an elbow.
Brogan is pushing Nukem's head away, looking to escape. Nukem manages to hold on to the position though.

Brogan parries the strikes from Nukem easily there. Nukem is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Brogan to escape.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Nukem tries to advance to mount but can't.
Brogan takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Nukem is looking to take a break and control but Brogan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Nukem creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Brogan sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Duke Nukem showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
