The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vincent stands up from Jarvinen's guard - Vincent perhaps looking for a knockout.
Vincent lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jarvinen circles away quickly and effectively.
Jarvinen closes this distance looking for a takedown but Vincent circles away.
Nice uppercut lands for Vincent. That snapped Jarvinen's head back.

and Vincent counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Jarvinen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Vincent manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

That was a close round but I would say that Ron Vincent will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Jarvinen goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
