The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roxorz tries to close the distance and clinch but Brong swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Brong looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Steve Roxorz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Roxorz tries to clinch up but Brong circles away and keeps his distance.
Brong throws a jab when Roxorz was well out of range.

Brong fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Roxorz has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Roxorz is breathing heavily.
Brong jabs at Roxorz's body.
Brong keeps the fight on the outside.
Brong cracks the inside of Roxorz's front leg.
Brong lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Brong lands a nice shot that snaps Roxorz's head back.
Brong jabs Roxorz right on the nose. Roxorz blinks but takes it well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Brong lands with a straight right. Roxorz didn't see that one coming.
Roxorz walks into a jab.
Brong throws a nice inside leg kick.

Good leg kick by Brong there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Brong tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Roxorz manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Brong bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Roxorz's head backwards.

and Brong counters with a lovely shot to the body.
A solid leg kick lands there for Brong.
Brong is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Roxorz had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Brong lands an overhand right.

Roxorz is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Brong dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Roxorz. That did some damage!
Oh Roxorz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Brong has cracked Roxorz with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Brong lands another huge swinging hook and Roxorz tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Roxorz, before Brong can land any more shots!
