The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Villa throws a lazy uppercut
and Kazunari counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Villa misses with a takedown attempt
and Kazunari cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Villa throws an off balance right hand
and Kazunari counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Villa takes one to the chin there.
Villa misses with a lunging right hand
and Kazunari counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Villa with a poor takedown
and Kazunari counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Kazunari sizes up Villa with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Villa throws an off balance right hand
and Kazunari counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Kazunari jabs Villa right on the nose. Villa blinks but takes it well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Kazunari counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Villa's guard now.
Tokugawa Kazunari has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Poncho Villa.

Kazunari is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Villa is forced to tap! Great finish!
