Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chase Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Makaveli Lexington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Storm comes to the cage accompanied by Pantera (Walk). Lexington has chosen 1970 Somethin - B.I.G as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Makaveli Lexington!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Winston Howard and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Storm throws a poor cross that misses
and Lexington counters with a nice uppercut.
Storm throws a lazy right hand but Lexington sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Storm misses with a lunging right hand
and Storm takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Lexington thows a body shot but no joy.
Lexington swings widly with a right hand
and Storm counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Storm jabs at Lexington's body.
Lexington throws a combination that misses
and Storm cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Storm fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lexington on the side of the head.
Lexington misses with a right hand
and Storm counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lexington pivots, looking for a leg kick but Storm is out of range and Lexington settles back down.
Lexington takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Storm lands a jab to Lexington's midsection.
Lexington is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Storm.

Lexington ducks straight into an uppercut from Storm and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Lexington manages to regain guard straight away.

Storm postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Lexington is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Storm, into his guard.

Storm is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Storm looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Lexington passes into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lexington looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Lexington throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Lexington lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Lexington thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Storm to regain full guard.

Storm had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lexington defends it easily.
Lexington lands a couple of digs.

Storm working for a triangle but Lexington defends it easily.
Lexington cracks Storm with a solid left hand.
Lexington trying to control the position from guard on top but Storm is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Lexington trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Storm manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Lexington is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lexington slips a nice elbow through Storm's hands, connecting with Storm's forehead.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Lexington looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chase Storm dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Storm throws a lazy uppercut
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Lexington clinches with his opponent.
Storm tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Storm works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Lexington misses with the head strike.

Lexington gets a trip takedown into half guard.

Storm is looking to improve his position.

Storm is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lexington pulls his head out easily.
Lexington working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Lexington misses with a head shot. Storm uses the momentum to regain guard.

Storm sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Lexington's guard.

Storm wants to work for an arm triangle but Lexington is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Storm is trying to work for a kimura but Lexington is defending well.
Lexington is controlling Storm's trapped leg to prevent Storm from advancing to side control.
Storm tries to pass the half guard into mount. Lexington knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Lexington has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Storm is working away from the top position though.
Lexington holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

Storm seems to be looking for submissions.
Lexington is pressing down on Storm's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Lexington escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Storm gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Lexington keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Storm's head.

Lexington is looking to work some ground and pound but Storm has wrist control.
Storm is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Lexington is working Storm over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Makaveli Lexington showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

A looping hook to the body misses from Lexington. Storm does a little dance to reset his feet.
Lexington wants to clinch up but Storm keeps it at a distance.

and Lexington counters with a shoot takedown. Storm fights it but they end up in guard.
Lexington is looking to advance position but Storm has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Storm swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Lexington is now in Storm's guard. A big mistake from Storm there, giving up the dominant position!

Storm working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lexington doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lexington manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
