The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akula walks into a stiff left hand from Dollaway.
Dollaway misses with a few strikes there.
Dollaway takes a swing at Akula's ribcage but misses.
Sloppy strikes from Dollaway. Those never looked like landing.
Dollaway throws a series of punches but Akula avoids them all with ease.
Dollaway throws an overhand right that lands on Akula's shoulder, as Akula tries to avoid the shot.
Dollaway throws a lazy right hand but Akula sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Dollaway displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Akula.

Dollaway gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Akula to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Akula slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Dollaway is breathing heavily.

Akula has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Dollaway is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Akula yanks on the arm and Dollaway is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Akula.
