Fox kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Sanford and Son. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fox will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Fox tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Mahoney is able to avoid easily.

and Mahoney counters with a nice double leg into side control. Fox won't be happy with that.

That was a close round but I would say that Red Fox will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Mahoney throws a shot from downtown. Fox moves away and avoids it.

and Mahoney counters with a nice low kick that buckles Fox's knee momentarily.

Fox closes the distance looking to clinch
and Mahoney counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Fox thinking.

and Mahoney makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Fox takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Mahoney ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
A slapping leg kick lands for Mahoney.
Mahoney scores with a jab.

Mahoney lands a big uppercut and Fox crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Fox looks OK. Mahoney waves Fox back to his feet!
Oh Fox is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
and Mahoney counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Fox! He's just covering up as Mahoney starts to tee off till referee steps in and stops the fight!
