The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wennstrom dodges the punch combination from Greene.
Greene throws a right hand that Wennstrom ducks under and follows up with a left that Wennstrom also avoids with ease.
Wennstrom throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Greene's waist but Greene gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wennstrom off to one side.
Wennstrom shoots in for a takedown but Greene shows good takedown defense.
Wennstrom throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Greene misses with a wild combination.
Wennstrom looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Greene is fending him off so far but Wennstrom persists. Nope, Greene circles away and we're back to standing.
Garrett Greene has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Axel Wennstrom.
Greene fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Wennstrom fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
