Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kaleb Aslan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Crier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crier has chosen Red Hot Chili Peppers - Get On Top as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Johnny Crier was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aslan connects with the punch.
Aslan throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
enabling Crier to counter with a crisp jab.
Aslan misses with a hook.
Crier slips a straight right by Aslan.
A swing and a miss from Crier.
Crier ducks under a wild hook from Aslan.
Crier tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Aslan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

enabling Crier to counter with a crisp jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Aslan goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Crier tries to work over Aslan's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Aslan gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Crier regains guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Aslan stops Crier from standing up.
Aslan working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Crier manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Aslan manages to get himself to full guard.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Crier's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Crier is in close to Aslan's body, working some short punches and elbows.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Crier is looking to work some ground and pound but Aslan has wrist control.
Aslan manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Aslan throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Crier because Aslan loaded up on that one.
Aslan can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Crier is looking to escape.
Aslan unloads with some shots from mount but Crier bucks and avoids them well.
Aslan throws some wild stikes that Crier manages to avoid easily.
Crier tries to lock up and control but Aslan gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Aslan prevents Crier from getting the reversal.

Aslan jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Crier is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Crier and Aslan has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

It looks like Johnny Crier has been cut.
Crier has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Crier is desperately trying to improve his position but Aslan has a good base and remains in mount.
Crier suckers Aslan into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Crier is now in Aslan's guard!
Crier won't allow Aslan to sweep him here.

Crier postures up in Aslan's guard and throws a big left but Aslan blocks it.

Aslan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Crier's guard.
Crier seems keen to control Aslan's posture.
Aslan throws a strike but Crier rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Aslan rushes Crier and presses him up against the cage.
Aslan is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Crier gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Aslan lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Aslan tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Aslan changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Crier fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Kaleb Aslan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Crier counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Aslan!
