The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fixiation avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Blanton misses with a looping left.
Blanton slaps away a takedown attempt from Fixiation, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fixiation is defended easily by Blanton.
Blanton throws a nice looking combination but Fixiation bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Blanton throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Fixiation scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Blanton is looking to regain half guard here but Fixiation keeps moving and retains side control.

Fixiation tries for a kimura but Blanton is defending well.

Fixiation wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Blanton, who protects the arm well.

Fixiation has an Americana. Blanton didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Fixiation is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Fixiation hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
