Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aleksandar Stanimirovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Kaland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Aleksandar Stanimirovic has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Aleksandar Stanimirovic seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kaland shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Stanimirovic napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Stanimirovic has hold of Kaland's hands but Kaland slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Kaland is trying to control the action in half guard but Stanimirovic is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Stanimirovic could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Stanimirovic is pressing down on Kaland's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Kaland postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Kaland must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kaland loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Stanimirovic is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
