The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paterson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cooper as he avoids it easily.
Paterson looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Paterson moves out of range of the body kick.
Cooper scores with a spinning back kick!
A slapping body kick lands there for Cooper.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cooper knocks Paterson to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?
It looks like Ben Paterson has been cut.
Cooper has hold of Paterson's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Paterson tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Cooper cranks the arm and Paterson screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Paterson, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
