Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dayne Bowring (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorge Jackons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackons has chosen Dream On as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Steve Erwin and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackons throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Bowring moves into the clinch.
Bowring really is a fat lump.
Jackons is trying to break the clinch but Bowring has him pressed against the cage.
Bowring is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Jackons pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Bowring tries for a takedown but Jackons manages to get underhooks.
Jackons is trying to push Bowring away but Bowring has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Jackons lands a left hand.
Jackons tries to score a body lock takedown but Bowring shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Bowring jumps guard but Jackons stands there with Bowring around his waist. Bowring gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Jackons breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Bowring counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Jackons!

Bowring is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Jackons is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Jackons swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

and Bowring decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jackons's guard.
Bowring is breathing heavily.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bowring accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Bowring trying to control but Jackons is working from the bottom.
Bowring throws and elbow that misses. Jackons uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bowring's guard. Nice move by Jackons!
Jackons wants to get up but he can't break Bowring's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Jackons is a very stocky fighter. Infact he's such a weird shape that he's almost like some sort of comedy character - it's hard to believe he's real.
Jackons wants to stand and escape but instead Bowring has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Jackons manages to escape and get back to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and Bowring counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jackons is looking to stand up but Bowring isn't so interested in that idea.
Bowringis looking to pass into half guard but Jackons pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Jackons is in guard.

Jackons works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Jackons lands with a light punch inside.
Jackons gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Bowring.
Jackons is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Jackons creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Bowring's defenses.

A frustrated look appears on Jackons's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Bowring jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jackons walks away with a smile on his face. Bowring gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Bowring counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Bowring.
Bowring won't allow Jackons to get back to his feet.
Jackons keeping moving, preventing Bowring from controlling successfully.

Jackons uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Jackons fails to land the takedown.
Bowring scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Jackons doesn't manage to clinch there - Bowring circles away.
Jackons wants to clinch up but Bowring keeps it at a distance.

Bowring shoots in and bounces Jackons off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Jackons sneaks out the side door and pushes Bowring away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Bowring takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

and Bowring counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Bowring takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Bowring thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jackons's head.
Bowring trying to mount his opponent but Jackons defends it.
Jackons is not content to let Bowring control the position.

Jackons is trying to escape back to his feet but Bowring uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Bowring is trying to move to mount but Jackons reverses beautifully and ends up in Bowring's guard.
Bowring has a closed guard, preventing Jackons from standing up.
Bowring wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Jackons is now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jackons wants to control but Bowring is keeping him busy.
Jackons wants to stand but Bowring has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Bowring tries to get to full guard but Jackons has control of the leg.
Jackons wants to stand up but Bowring is controlling the position.
Bowring is looking to control Jackons's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bowring avoid being mounted?

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Jackons stands up out of the half guard.
Bowring throws a head kick but Jackons moves out of range.
Jackons thuds his right hand into Bowring's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Bowring decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Jackons is defending against the submission attempts here by Bowring.
Jackons kicks Bowring off and gets back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight!
Dayne Bowring showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bowring, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
