The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bean attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Bean misses with a double jab
enabling edmunds to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like James Bean has been cut.
Bean tries to clinch but edmunds moves out of range.
edmunds will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
edmunds is looking to clinch but Bean is avoiding it.
Bean throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and edmunds counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bean won't be happy with that.

edmunds has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
edmunds pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bean stuns edmunds with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
edmunds wants to clinch.
edmunds fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
edmunds moves to clinch but Bean breaks away
and Bean counters with a good, hard body kick but edmunds shrugs it off.
edmunds is breathing heavily.
Bean lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

It looks like nole edmunds has been cut.

Oooooh!!! Bean has knocked edmunds down with a huge combo! Bean steps away and waves a wobbly edmunds back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Bean dances in with a quick combination. edmunds is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Bean snaps edmunds's head back. edmunds stumbles backwards against the cage. Bean steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with edmunds's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. edmunds just didn't come prepared.
