Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dan Malurky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aiden Rivers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malurky's entrance music is I'm On a Boat. A fine choice. Rivers has chosen hed(pe)- Bartender as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Dan Malurky has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Dan Malurky seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivers throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Malurky to counter with a crisp jab.
Rivers misses with a right hand
and Malurky counters with a nice uppercut.
Malurky misses with a two punch combination.
Malurky swings widly with a right hand
and Rivers counters with a good low kick that Malurky was not able to check.
Malurky throws an off balance right hand
and Rivers counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Rivers throws an off balance right hand
and Malurky counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Malurky misses with a body kick.
Rivers connects with a looping right hand.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Malurky checks a leg kick.
Rivers is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Malurky scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Rivers throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Malurky counters with a series of strikes. Rivers will be more careful next time no doubt.
Malurky's jab looks to have found its range, popping Rivers under the eye.

Malurky keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Malurky blocks a jab.
Rivers jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Rivers shoots for a double leg takedown but Malurky sprawls well. He's pushed Rivers's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Malurky scores with a decent looking hook.
Malurky swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Malurky throws a hook to the side of Rivers's head but Rivers sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Rivers throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Malurky sees it coming and avoids it easily.

and Malurky counters with a lovely straight right hand!

No joy there for Malurky, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rivers throws a predictable looking body shot
and Malurky counters with a stiff right hand.
Rivers on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Rivers misses with a jab to the body
enabling Malurky to counter with a crisp jab.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Malurky, as that shot connected.
Malurky is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
The fighters circling - Rivers throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Rivers misses with a straight left.
Rivers fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rivers throws a lazy uppercut
and Malurky counters with a two punch combo.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Rivers swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Malurky counters with a three punch combo that has Rivers backing up. Rivers nods at Malurky to acknowledge the strikes.
