The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kawashima takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Chaves looks for a takedown but Kawashima sprawls well.
Kawashima stuns Chaves with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Chaves misses with a double jab
and Kawashima counters with a right hand to the body.
Chaves lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Chaves.

Kawashima takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Chaves shoots for a takedown but Kawashima saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Kawashima fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Chaves looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

and Kawashima counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Kawashima scores with a punch to the head.

Chaves is rocked!
Chaves walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Chaves limp body while Kawashima jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
