Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jaws Bilo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Villegas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Villegas is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: War is my destiny. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Villegas drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Bilo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Villegas is pushing down on Bilo's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bilo is fighting to maintain full guard but Villegas has managed to sneak the leg through.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Villegas uses his free foot to push down on Bilo's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Bilo.

Villegas is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Bilo can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Bilo wants to control but Villegas is having none of it.

The referee warns Bilo that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Villegas is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Bilo has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Bilo!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Villegas is keen to just control but Bilo is a slippery customer.

Bilo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Villegas stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Villegas steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bilo.

and Villegas counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Bilo is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Bilo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Villegas manages to avoid it.

Jaws Bilo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bilo lands a nice looking body shot.

Villegas shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Villegas has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bilo's face.
Villegas is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Bilo can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
