Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eyetook Yudaon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Mcdougall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jan Mcdougall will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcdougall misses with a takedown attempt
and Yudaon counters with a straight right hand.
Mcdougall cracks Yudaon with a right hand to the side of the head.

Yudaon closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Yudaon scores with punches from side control.
Check out the look on Yudaon's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Mcdougall tries to bench press Yudaon off him but Yudaon keeps the position.
Yudaon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mcdougall on the ground.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Yudaon is looking to take a break and control but Mcdougall is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Mcdougall is trying to control Yudaon's posture but Yudaon avoids it.

Mcdougall is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Yudaon goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Mcdougall has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Yudaon but great work by Mcdougall.

Yudaon tries to reverse the position but Mcdougall maintains control.

Mcdougall jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Yudaon is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Yudaon and Mcdougall has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Mcdougall misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Yudaon gets back to half guard.
Yudaon moves into full guard.
Yudaon on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Yudaon tries to get out of the position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Mcdougall is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Yudaon scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Yudaon has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Yudaon is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Mcdougall has escaped the position, nice work there.
Mcdougall is not content to let Yudaon control the position.

Yudaon lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Yudaon is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Mcdougall looks calm but he's in trouble here. Yudaon gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Mcdougall is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Yudaon lets go of the hold and Mcdougall can pop his arm back in it's socket.
