The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Fedor Mirinova and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zelonka shoots and misses
and Rotterdam connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Zelonka shoots in for a takedown but Rotterdam shows good takedown defense.
Zelonka moves to clinch but Rotterdam breaks away
and Zelonka takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Zelonka tries to clinch but Rotterdam moves away
and Rotterdam counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Zelonka wants to clinch but Rotterdam slips to the side
and Rotterdam counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Rotterdam uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Zelonka has time to react.
Zelonka staying out of range there.
Rotterdam doesn't manage to clinch there - Zelonka circles away.
Zelonka throws a poor cross that misses
and Rotterdam counters with a nice body shot.
Zelonka misses with an uppercut
enabling Rotterdam to counter with a crisp jab.
Rotterdam throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Rotterdam looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Zelonka throws a lazy head kick
and Rotterdam counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Rotterdam lunges at Zelonka with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Zelonka's hand.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Zelonka uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Rotterdam has time to react.
Zelonka throws an off balance right hand
and Rotterdam counters by moving into the clinch.
Rotterdam has clasped his hands together around Zelonka's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Zelonka wants to control but Rotterdam postures up.
Rotterdam has hold of Zelonka's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Zelonka tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Rotterdam cranks the arm and Zelonka screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Zelonka, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
