The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bridgewater fails in his attempt to clinch.
Alex Bridgewater seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bridgewater tries to close the distance and clinch but Solrac swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bridgewater tries to clinch up but Solrac circles away and keeps his distance.
Bridgewater throws a head kick that misses.
Bridgewater closes the distance and clinches up with Solrac, looking for a takedown. Bridgewater pushes Solrac against the cage but Solrac circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Solrac misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bridgewater.
Solrac stuffs the takedown.
Solrac throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bridgewater.
Bridgewater fails to land the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alex Bridgewater. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bridgewater tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bridgewater will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Bridgewater counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Solrac looking for a triangle here. Bridgewater is fighting it but it looks tight! Solrac pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Bridgewater is tapping out - this one is all over!
