And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Michael Tucker!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Alyssa Summers and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tucker drives through with a takedown into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Biff Buffington wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Buffington shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tucker but Tucker pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Buffington seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Buffington tries to free his leg and advance position but Tucker is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Biff Buffington has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Buffington changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tucker tries to avoid it but Buffington manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tucker to the ground. Tucker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Biff Buffington. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tucker throws a push kick but Buffington slaps the foot to one side.
Buffington throws a hook to the side of Tucker's head but Tucker sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Tucker decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Buffington's guard.

Buffington is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Tucker is aware though and is defending well.

Michael Tucker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Tucker has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
