The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cred avoids a punch combination nicely.

Cred gets tackled into the cage by Bombada. Bombada maintains the clinch.
Bombada scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Bombada lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Bombada prevents a takedown attempt there.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bombada gets through Cred's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Cred blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Bombada breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cred keeps the fight on the outside.
Bombada stuffs the takedown attempt from Cred. Cred gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Street Cred. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bombada throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Cred uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bombada.

Cred shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Bombada is looking to stand up but Cred isn't so interested in that idea.

Cred stands and throws Bombada's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Cred sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Bombada is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Bombada tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

Bombada defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Cred's arms.
Bombada is trying to stand back up.

Bombada has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Cred.
Cred throwing sloppy strikes.
Cred throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage.

Cred has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.

Bombada controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
Cred is punishing Bombada with strikes - can he finish him?!

Cred has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Bombada has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Bombada prevents Cred from getting a body triangle.
Can Bombada hold on?! Cred is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cred is defended easily by Bombada.

Bombada lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Cred sprawling to the canvas. Bombada follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Cred hang on?

Cred is rocked!

It looks like Street Cred has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bombada prevents Cred from improving his position.
Bombada is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Cred makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Cred.
Bombada has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Cred is proving hard to escape from.
Cred is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Cred wants to take a breather but Bombada is having none of it.

Bombada is trying to stand back up but Cred is controlling him

Bombada blocking the ground and pound attempt from Cred.
Bombada really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cred. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Cred passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Bombada!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Cred lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Bombada hang on?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bombada wants to get back to his feet.

Bombada is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Street Cred overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Bombada is breathing heavily.
Cred takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Bombada is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Bombada wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Cred.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Street Cred will probably get the nod.
