Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Alvarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Volynkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Volynkin has chosen Ария - Встань, as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexander Volynkin!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Fedor Mirinova and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvarez misses with the combination.
Alvarez wants to clinch up but Volynkin keeps it at a distance.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Volynkin tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Alvarez smiles and moves away.

Alvarez stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Alvarez wants it to stay on the feet.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

That was a close round but I would say that Miguel Alvarez will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Alvarez is fighting off a takedown attempt but Volynkin is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Alvarez to the mat. Alvarez regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

That was a close second round but I would say that Miguel Alvarez will probably get the nod.

Volynkin takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
