The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawkins tries to close the distance and clinch but Fairtex swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hawkins looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Fairtex gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Fairtex is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Hawkins pushes Fairtex back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Hawkins is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Fairtex has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Hawkins is looking to defend but Fairtex has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Hawkins! Fairtex pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Hawkins taps out and this one is all over!
