Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Dale Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takashi Sudo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Johnson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Village People - Macho Man. Sudo has chosen Kaneda as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Takashi Sudo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sudo misses with the combination.
Sudo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Sudo tries to score with a low kick but Johnson moves his leg out of the way.
Johnson shoots in looking for a takedown but Sudo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Johnson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Johnson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Johnson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
