The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Benvolio clinches up against the cage.

Mercutio Benvolio has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Loman shoots in looking for a takedown. Benvolio tries to sprawl out of it but Loman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Benvolio manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Benvolio is bucking up trying to escape but Loman cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Loman has hold of Benvolio's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Benvolio manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
