The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Coogan gets caught flat footed, as Bazaev shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Coogan has his hands on Bazaev's head, controlling the position.
Bazaev sitting in guard here, content to control.
Coogan lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bazaev!
Bazaev tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Bazaev wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Coogan.
Coogan can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bazaev is looking to escape.
Bazaev tries to lock up and control but Coogan gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Bazaev knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Coogan on the ground.
Coogan looking to control but Bazaev is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Coogan sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Coogan moves to the back position.
Bazaev tries to roll but Coogan sticks to his back.

Coogan is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Bazaev won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Coogan off his unconscious opponent!
