The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paramaguru takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

It looks like Senthu Paramaguru has been cut.
Paramaguru looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Rivera lands with a hook. Paramaguru tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Rivera lands a lovely overhand right.

Paramaguru is rocked!

Rivera cracks Paramaguru with a big right hand and Paramaguru goes down!
Oh Paramaguru is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Paramaguru can't keep his opponent in guard - Rivera advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Rivera decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Paramaguru throws a combination that misses
and Rivera connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Paramaguru seems to have got his legs back now.

Rivera lands a big shot that drops Paramaguru! Can he finish him?

Rivera drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rivera jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Rivera passes Paramaguru's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Rivera moves into full mount! Paramaguru won't be happy about that!

Rivera is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Rivera lands with an overhand left.
Rivera with a nice cross.
Rivera feints with a jab and clips Paramaguru right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Paramaguru is sent crashing into the canvas and Rivera leaps in for the kill! Paramaguru tries to get to his feet but Rivera is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Paramaguru is in need of a savior and steps in!
