Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jacob Creek!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cesar Dominguez!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Winston Howard and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Creek closes the distance but Dominguez moves to the side
and Dominguez counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.


It looks like Jacob Creek has been cut.
Dominguez throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Creek counters with a left and a right that stings Dominguez.
Creek wants to clinch
and Dominguez counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
A nice combination there by Creek.


It looks like Cesar Dominguez has been cut.
Creek closes the distance but Dominguez moves to the side
and Dominguez counters with a nice uppercut.
Dominguez sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

and Dominguez counters with a flying knee that drops Creek!

Dominguez drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dominguez jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Oh Creek is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Creek wants to stand and escape but Dominguez is having none of it.

Dominguez has gone for a leg lock! Creek slips out almost immediately though and dives into Dominguez's guard.

Dominguez is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Dominguez bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Creek's guard.
Creek seems to have got his legs back now.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Dominguez connects with a nice short shot to Creek's temple.
Creek knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dominguez on the ground.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Dominguez tries to get the hooks in deep but Creek pushed the leg off.
