Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Stefan Pozsgai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and It Kiefa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pozsgai's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, PC Park - Klatka. Kiefa has chosen Sequoia Throne as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Stefan Pozsgai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, It Kiefa!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Vladimir Khabensky and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pozsgai lands with a right hand.
No luck for Pozsgai with that takedown attempt.
Pozsgai misses with a double jab
and Kiefa counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kiefa circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kiefa lands a nice leg kick that just misses Pozsgai's sensitive parts.
Pozsgai smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Kiefa throws a push kick but Pozsgai slaps the foot to one side.
Nice uppercut lands for Pozsgai. That snapped Kiefa's head back.
Kiefa takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Kiefa throws a leg kick but Pozsgai moved away.
Kiefa tries a head kick but it misses.

Pozsgai bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

enabling Pozsgai to counter with a crisp jab.
Pozsgai cracks Kiefa with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Kiefa fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pozsgai manages to avoid it.
Good shot there by Pozsgai.
Kiefa throws a sloppy head kick
and Pozsgai counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Pozsgai is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Kiefa avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A head kick from Kiefa lands but Pozsgai takes it in his stride.
Pozsgai lands with a hook. Kiefa tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Pozsgai scores with a sloppy right hand. Kiefa should have avoided that one.

Kiefa slips a straight right by Pozsgai.
Pozsgai misses with a hook to the body
and Kiefa counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

and Kiefa counters with a good low kick that Pozsgai was not able to check.
Kiefa misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Kiefa takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Kiefa misses with a hook to the body
and Pozsgai counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Kiefa tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Pozsgai manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Pozsgai jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Pozsgai is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Kiefa uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pozsgai.
Pozsgai lands the left hand.
Pozsgai keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Pozsgai changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kiefa tries to avoid it but Pozsgai manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kiefa to the ground. Kiefa escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Pozsgai counters with a nice uppercut.
Pozsgai looks for a takedown but Kiefa sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stefan Pozsgai. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Pozsgai counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kiefa cracks the inside of Pozsgai's front leg.
Kiefa slips a jab and a cross from Pozsgai.

No joy there for Pozsgai, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A low kick from Kiefa misses
and Pozsgai counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Pozsgai thows a body shot but no joy.
Pozsgai shoots for a double leg takedown but Kiefa sprawls well. He's pushed Pozsgai's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kiefa gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Pozsgai.

Pozsgai circles away from the clinch attempt
and Pozsgai counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Stefan Pozsgai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Pozsgai fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but It Kiefa will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Kiefa is pulling down on Pozsgai's head. It's preventing any offense from Pozsgai, at least for the moment.

Kiefa is looking to stand up but Pozsgai isn't so interested in that idea.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Pozsgai looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Kiefa keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Pozsgai lands with a punch from half guard.
Kiefa has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pozsgai is working away from the top position though.
Kiefa is looking to escape.

Pozsgai is working for a kimura but Kiefa is defending it quite comfortably.
Kiefa tries to kick Pozsgai off in order to stand up. Pozsgai Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Pozsgai tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Pozsgai has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Pozsgai swings around for an armbar but Kiefa sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Pozsgai's guard.

Kiefa avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Pozsgai has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Kiefa got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pozsgai has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kiefa has managed to get both his arms back between Pozsgai's legs - danger averted.
Kiefa wants to get up but he can't break Pozsgai's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Kiefa is in a horrible position here. Pozsgai smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kiefa bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Kiefa must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Pozsgai is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kiefa defends well.
Pozsgai bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kiefa's guard.

Kiefa is looking to stand up but Pozsgai isn't so interested in that idea.

Pozsgai throws a strike but Kiefa rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Kiefa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pozsgai. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pozsgai is on top in guard.
Pozsgai will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Pozsgai is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Kiefa is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Kiefa has escaped and now he's on top!
Kiefa wants to stand but Pozsgai has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Kiefa has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Pozsgai is proving hard to escape from.

Pozsgai has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kiefa can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Pozsgai had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kiefa defends it easily.

And that's the end of the fight!
Stefan Pozsgai showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Pozsgai has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
