Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikami Teru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Darko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teru misses with a combination
and Darko connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Mikami Teru has been cut.
Darko misses with the combination.
Teru throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Darko counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Teru wants to stand and escape but Darko is having none of it.
Darko works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Darko tries to pass to full mount but Teru defends it.

Darko is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Teru has managed to free his arm - good work.
Teru knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Darko on the ground.

Darko is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Teru on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Teru tries to get out of the position.

Darko wants to take his opponent's back but Teru doesn't allow it.

Teru is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Darko locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Teru is forced to tap!
