And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Demitri Yschenko!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Sergei Dronov and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trill will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
No joy there for Trill, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Yschenko has Trill up against the cage in a clinch.
Yschenko wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Yschenko is stalling here.
Yschenko tries to pull guard but Trill holds him up against the cage and eventually Yschenko drops back down to his feet.
Yschenko misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Trill.
Trill can't break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Yschenko is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Trill gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Yschenko.
Yschenko drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Trill gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Andrew Trill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Demitri Yschenko.

Yschenko is trying to break the clinch but Trill has him pressed against the cage.
Trill tries to circle away but Yschenko has him pinned against the cage.
Yschenko changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Trill fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Trill misses with a jab, cross combination.
Trill tests Yschenko's chin there with a solid looking shot.


It looks like Demitri Yschenko has been cut.
Trill misses with an uppercut. Yschenko saw that one coming.
Trill pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Yschenko fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Trill sprawls well initially but Yschenko persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Trill is refusing to be controlled, as Yschenko sits in half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Yschenko tries to pass the half guard into mount. Trill knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Yschenko throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Yschenko is looking to take a break and control but Trill is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Yschenko controlling the pace.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Yschenko passes to side control.
Trill is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Yschenko's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Yschenko moves into full mount! Trill won't be happy about that!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Trill regains half guard.

Yschenko is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Trill defends it well.

Yschenko is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Trill has managed to free his arm - good work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Demitri Yschenko's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Yschenko tries to score a power double leg takedown but Trill sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Yschenko somewhat.

Yschenko forces Trill back against the cage and clinches.

Yschenko escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Trill gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Yschenko controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Trill keeping moving, preventing Yschenko from controlling successfully.
Yschenko thows a big elbow that misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Trill is working an open guard so Yschenko takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Trill throws a big shot that misses.

Trill cracks Yschenko with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Yschenko looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Trill finish him?


Yschenko is rocked!
Andrew Trill is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Trill misses with a hook. Yschenko ducked under it nicely.
Yschenko is still on wobbly legs! Can Trill finish him?
Yschenko ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
A shot to the liver by Trill. Beautiful body shot.
Yschenko seems to have recovered his senses.
Yschenko is breathing heavily.
Trill fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Yschenko to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Yschenko looks to clinch but Trill throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Yschenko taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
