Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Volkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sammy Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Volkov might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Trooper by Iron Maiden. Johnson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. ACDC - You Want Blood? You Got It kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Johnson misses the target.
Volkov connects with a good right hand that stumbles Johnson. Johnson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Johnson is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Johnson tries to bum rush Volkov with a series of wild strikes but Volkov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Johnson throws a series of punches but Volkov avoids them all with ease.
A bone on bone clash there as Johnson blocks the leg kick.
Volkov throws out a loose jab but Johnson uses good head movement to avoid it.
The fighters circling - Volkov throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Johnson looks to land a combination but Volkov avoids it well.
Volkov staying out of range there.
Johnson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Volkov connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Johnson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Volkov thumps Johnson with a low kick.
Sammy Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Volkov thows a left - swing and a miss!
Johnson gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Volkov gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Johnson is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
