Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Saku Sammakko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simeoni Viikate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Sammakko might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Saku Sammakko. Viikate is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Cock Sparrer - England belong to me. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Viikate tries to clinch but Sammakko moves away
letting Sammakko counter with a right hand.
Viikate closes the distance but Sammakko moves to the side
and Viikate takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Viikate tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Sammakko decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Viikate's guard.
Sammakko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Viikate swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Viikate really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sammakko. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Sammakko tries to free his leg and advance position but Viikate is retaining full guard.
Sammakko drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Sammakko seems to have locked his on tight now - Viikate screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Sammakko, as he picks up the win!
