Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Manny Gambroni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shaw is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Shangri-La. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Shaw!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Franklyn Lucas and Joseph Jones.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gambroni cracks the inside of Shaw's front leg.
Gambroni stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gambroni wants it to stay on the feet.
Gambroni cracks Shaw with a right hand to the side of the head.

It looks like John Shaw has been cut.
Shaw shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gambroni as he jumps to the side.
Shaw shoots for a takedown but Gambroni saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Manny Gambroni has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Shaw.
Shaw fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Shaw looks gassed!
Gambroni throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Shaw takes one on the button.
Shaw looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Gambroni connects with a right hand. Shaw shakes it off.
That kick from Gambroni tenderised Shaw's leg. Shaw is trying to keep his angry face on.
Shaw takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Gambroni ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
A good leg kick by Gambroni.
Gambroni throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Shaw sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
John Shaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gambroni connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Shaw momentarily.
Gambroni thuds a left hand into Shaw's body.
Shaw takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gambroni throws a front kick that sends Shaw stumbling back into the cage.
Gambroni is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Gambroni has Shaw up against the cage in a clinch.

Gambroni breaks from the clinch.
Shaw on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Gambroni drops Shaw with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Shaw looks back up at him and smiles so Gambroni waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Shaw is rocked!

That has opened up John Shaw's cut even more.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Gambroni.
Shaw is still on wobbly legs! Can Gambroni finish him?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gambroni thuds a left hand into Shaw's body.
Shaw is trying desperately to land a takedown but Gambroni is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Shaw.
Gambroni fakes the body blow, causing Shaw to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Shaw goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
