Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daijiro Kato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Celso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kato comes to the cage accompanied by Flyover. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Celso throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Kato.
Kato tries to clinch up.
Celso shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Celso showed some decent athleticism there.
Kato is rocked!
Celso wants to work for an arm triangle but Kato is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kato looks like he's trying to stand up.
Celso should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Celso seems to be looking for submissions.
Celso trying to mount his opponent but Kato defends it.
Celso is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kato doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Celso.
Kato wants to control but Celso is keeping busy.
Celso is looking to advance position but Kato won't allow it.

Celso is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Kato has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Celso is working away from the top position though.
Kato knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Celso on the ground.

Kato is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Celso is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Kato wants to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Kato chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Celso can pounce on him.
Celso pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Kato bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Celso avoids the head kick by Kato.

and Kato counters with a head kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A head kick lands from Celso that sends Kato to the canvas. Kato tries to scramble back to his feet but Celso brings him back down into side control.
Oh Kato is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
It looks like Daijiro Kato has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Celso works to advance to full mount. Kato defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Celso looking for a guillotine from mount but Kato is having none of it.
Celso is working to isolate an arm here. It's a choreographed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Celso extends the arm and Kato is forced to tap!
