The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slobberknocker swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Ruas counters with a stiff right hand.
Slobberknocker's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Slobberknocker duly obliges.
It looks like Murilo Ruas has been cut.
Ruas fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Slobberknocker sprawls well initially but Ruas persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Slobberknocker, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
