The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight misses with a looping left.
Knight pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Knight lands a really nice looking cross but Kruger seems unphased.
Nice cross by Knight.
Kruger steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Knight.
Jab, jab by Knight - just one landing.

Kruger gets the takedown into side control.
Knight is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Kruger off and has taken his back!
I would not like to be Kruger right now.
You can see the frustration on Kruger's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Knight is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Knight is trying to stick to Kruger's back but Kruger is turning into Knight. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Knight's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Kruger.

Kruger loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

The Black Knight has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
A big left from Knight misses.
Knight connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Nice jab there from Knight.
BOOM! Knight lands a beautiful left hook that drops Kruger. Kruger tries to recover but Knight is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Kruger lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
