Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Stanislav Tarasenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Ryder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Stanislav Tarasenko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jacob Ryder!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tarasenko keeps the fight on the outside.
Ryder uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tarasenko.
Tarasenko shoots for a takedown but Ryder saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Ryder stuffs the takedown attempt from Tarasenko. Tarasenko gets slowly back to his feet.
Ryder avoids the head kick by Tarasenko.
Tarasenko tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ryder sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tarasenko somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stanislav Tarasenko. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Ryder counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Ryder.

That's one minute gone in the round.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ryder lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Ryder lands with a punch from half guard.
Tarasenko is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Tarasenko flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Tarasenko wants to improve his position but Ryder is controlling well.
Ryder missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ryder is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Tarasenko keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Tarasenko is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Ryder scores with a couple of nice shots.
Ryder seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Tarasenko has a hand on Ryder's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Ryder takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tarasenko in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.


Tarasenko is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tarasenko is looking to improve his position but Ryder isn't that keen on the idea.
Ryder working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Oh Tarasenko is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tarasenko knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ryder on the ground.
Ryder postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Tarasenko bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Ryder and the fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jacob Ryder!
