Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monavon shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McDougall but McDougall pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Monavon misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
McDougall swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
McDougall lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Urk Monavon has been cut.
McDougall avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
No luck for Monavon with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Urk Monavon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McDougall throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Monavon showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from McDougall.
McDougall clinches with his opponent.
McDougall pulls Monavon into guard.
Monavon is pushing down on McDougall's leg trying to pass to half guard. McDougall is fighting to maintain full guard but Monavon has managed to sneak the leg through.
McDougall wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McDougall makes his way to full guard. A much better position for McDougall.
McDougall looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's one minute gone in the round.
McDougall pushes Monavon off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
McDougall misses with a series of wild punches.
Monavon dives in and grabs McDougall's left leg, looking for a takedown. McDougall pushes down on Monavon's head and hops out.
Monavon shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McDougall as he jumps to the side.
Monavon looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? McDougall is fending him off so far but Monavon persists. Nope, McDougall circles away and we're back to standing.
Monavon fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but McDougall avoids it really well and circles away.
Monavon is breathing heavily.
McDougall closes the distance and pushes Monavon back into the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
McDougall breaks from the clinch.
A punch combination from McDougall misses.
McDougall keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
McDougall shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Monavon eats them both and turns towards McDougall to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Urk Monavon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McDougall punishes Monavon's body with a nice straight punch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McDougall closes the distance and clinches.
McDougall digs a right hand into Monavon's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Monavon's gas tank.
McDougall scores with a hook to the body.
McDougall breaks the clinch.
McDougall drops Monavon with a right and a left! McDougall comes rushing in but Monavon regains his composure and manages to keep McDougall in guard.
Monavon is rocked!
McDougall is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Oh Monavon is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
McDougall postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Monavon covers up, he's hurt! McDougall keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from McDougall and the ref steps in to end the fight! McDougall can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kyle McDougall!
