Iakovakis kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Auschwitz - Francesco Guccini. . The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iakovakis throws a body punch but stan moves out of range.

and Iakovakis counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

A looping hook to the body misses from Iakovakis. stan does a little dance to reset his feet.
Iakovakis looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

and Iakovakis counters with a right hand that sends stan tumbling to the canvas! Can Iakovakis finish him? He dives into stan's guard looking to do just that!

It looks like paul stan has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Iakovakis sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed stan's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
stan really wants to buck Iakovakis off and get back to his feet.

stan bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Iakovakis comes at him with an uppercut from hell! stan falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! stan was out before he hit the floor!
