The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drake scoring well with a low kick there.
Drake throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Dixon counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Drake's guard now.

Drake working for a triangle but Dixon defends it easily.
Drake wants to get back to his feet but Dixon is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Dixon has Drake pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Drake is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Dixon - that's hurt Drake badly! Oh, another knee lands and Drake is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Drake doesn't seem to be complaining.
