Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jokke Mela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miquel Felix da Costa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mela comes to the cage accompanied by Da Rockwilder . Miquel Felix da Costa told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Mela closes this distance looking for a takedown but Felix da Costa circles away.

Mela is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Mela holds on and takes a little breather.

Felix da Costa sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mela's guard.
Felix da Costa is keen to just control but Mela is a slippery customer.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Felix da Costa seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mela does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jokke Mela.
