The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Washington on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Ferreira. Ferreira obviously looking to wear him down.
Antonio Ferreira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ferreira shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Washington's guard.
Ferreira wants to control from the top but Washington keeps moving.
