The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryder doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Tszyu counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Ryder misses with a takedown attempt
and Tszyu counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Ryder closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Tszyu quickly recovers to half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ryder is looking to pass Tszyu's guard but actually Tszyu recovers to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tszyu pulls Ryder in to control the position.
