Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dingadingading Dong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dingo Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dingadingading Dong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dingo Hansen!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, William Gold and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hansen tries to close the distance and clinch but Dong swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dong fails with the takedown.

Hansen gets caught flat footed, as Dong shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dong wants to pass the guard but Hansen is keeping the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dong accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Dong slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Hansen can't keep his opponent in guard - Dong advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Hansen missing with punches from the bottom.
Hansen is not content to let Dong control the position.
Hansen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dong. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hansen keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Dong has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Dong is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hansen is just riding it out for now. Dong eventually gives up the hold.
Hansen is looking to improve his position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Hansen just misses with a punch to the body.

Dong closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hansen circles away.
Dingo Hansen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dong shoots in for a double leg but Hansen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hansen is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

with the fighters clinched against the cage, Hansen creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Dong closes the distance and clinches up with Hansen, looking for a takedown. Dong pushes Hansen against the cage but Hansen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Hansen stuffs the takedown attempt from Dong. Dong gets slowly back to his feet.

Hansen darts in and clinches Dong up against the cage.
Hansen lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Still in the clinch, Hansen scores with a nice short uppercut.

Hansen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Hansen fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dong, pushing him back against the cage.

Hansen gets through Dong's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Hansen scores with an uppercut up the middle.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hansen lands an uppercut.

Hansen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hansen tries to close the distance and clinch but Dong swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Hansen scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dong doesn't seem bothered though.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Dong wants to break free but Hansen has control.

Dong tries to pull guard but Hansen holds him up against the cage and eventually Dong drops back down to his feet.
Dong drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hansen gets the underhooks and prevents it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dingo Hansen dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Hansen doesn't manage to clinch there - Dong circles away.
Hansen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Horrible takedown by Dong or perhaps it was just good defense by Hansen which made him look bad.

Dong will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dong closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hansen to the mat! Hansen manages to get full guard.
Dong is pushing down on Hansen's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hansen is fighting to maintain full guard but Dong has managed to sneak the leg through.

Dong is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hansen defends it well.

Dong thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hansen's head.
Dong not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Hansen is trying to get back to full guard.
Dong passes to side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
You can see the frustration on Hansen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Dong in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Hansen is tapping! That's the end of the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Dingadingading Dong!
