The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Portage keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Portage ducks under a wild hook from Trenedad.

Portage moves out of range of the strikes.
Trenedad thows a left - swing and a miss!
Portage throws a quick inside leg kick.
Portage fails in his attempt to clinch.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Justin Portage hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Portage misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Trenedad stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Portage swivels though and keeps the full guard.
