Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mad Dog Vachon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean Silver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vachon comes to the cage accompanied by Gros jambon. The crowd seem to be enjoying Silver's choice of entrance music: Snow (Hey Oh). Jean Silver has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Mad Dog Vachon's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silver rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Vachon counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Vachon tries to close the distance and clinch up but Silver swats him away and circles back towards the center.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Vachon might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Silver utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Vachon postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Vachon wants to control from the top but Silver keeps moving.

Vachon is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vachon seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Vachon is working for a kimura but Silver is defending it quite comfortably.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Silver really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vachon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
