Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ritari Assa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jameson Web (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jameson Web is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Assa gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Web connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Web cracks Assa with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Web throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Assa with a poor takedown
enabling Web to counter with a crisp jab.
Web throws a front kick aimed at Assa's knee but Assa avoids it well.
Assa looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Ritari Assa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Assa shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Web defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ritari Assa. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Assa walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Web throws a combination. Assa tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Web clobbers Assa with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Assa wants to free his trapped foot but Web is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Assa uses his free foot to push down on Web's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Web.
Assa is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Web has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Web has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Web cracks Assa with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Assa closes the distance and clinches up with Web, looking for a takedown. Assa pushes Web against the cage but Web circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Assa takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Assa walks into a left hand.
Assa moves forwards but Web connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Web is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

and Assa takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Web fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Assa on the side of the head.
The fighters circle momentarily. Web darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
A jab from Web finds it's way through Assa's defenses.
Web misses with a low kick as Assa jumps back.

Web keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Web scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Assa shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Web's guard.

Web wants to stand and escape but Assa is having none of it.
Assa throws a strike but Web rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Assa on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Assa tries to get out of the position.

Assa looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Assa looking for a guillotine here but Web defends easily.
Assa had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Web defends it easily.
Assa working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Web doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Web manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Assa has a closed guard, preventing Web from standing up.
Assa is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Assa is trying hard to land a takedown here. Web sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Web bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Assa's head.
Assa throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Web's waist but Web gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Assa off to one side.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Assa jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Web is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Web and Assa has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Assa is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Web is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Assa tries for a kimura but Web is defending well.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ritari Assa.
I think Web has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
