Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doe tries to grapple but his opponent circles

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Man Pig has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Doe.

and Doe counters with a single leg into guard. Pig didn't expect that.
Doe in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Doe must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Doe prevents Pig from getting back to his feet.
Doe throws a strike but Pig rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Doe is looking for a triangle but Pig pushes his legs off easily.

Pig has gone for a leg lock! Doe slips out almost immediately though and dives into Pig's guard.

Doe drops back, looking for a kneebar! Pig looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Pig looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Pig!

Pig has hold of Doe's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Doe tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Pig cranks the arm and Doe screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Doe, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
